There isn’t a better job for a trumpet player than mine.  If I could write my own job description I wouldn’t change a thing.  Not only is it the “World’s Favourite Orchestra”, it has to be one of the friendliest too.  A relaxed but professional approach from our musicians gives a magical blend of high standards and freedom to perform without pressure.

If asked to pick a favourite aspect of the job, I would say it’s two fold.  Performing epic film scores live to projection is a complete thrill.  I also love days in the studio where we are creating content for RTE Radio and Television, or a commercial film score.  We have the luxury of working with some really committed “in house” sound guys who always do their best to make us sound as good as we can.  (Make sure to stick my solo through the “FABULIZOR” Daemo…)
